Intraday Trade Planner
About this PDF
I’ve made your Intraday Trade Planner, a 37-page A4 PDF for printing and filling in by hand. It’s set up for NSE/BSE cash intraday trading, with 1% risk per trade as the default. What’s inside: Rules and sizing: your trader profile, risk limits (per trade, daily, weekly, number of trades, losing streak) and a commitment pledge. A quick-lookup table gives the quantity to trade at 1% risk for capital from ₹50K to ₹10L, plus six blank sizing worksheets. Costs and timings: a page on typical intraday charges, a breakeven worksheet and NSE market timings. Setup playbook: four common setups filled in as starting points (opening range breakout, VWAP pullback, breakout of the previous day’s high or low, and support/resistance reversal) for you to edit. Daily pages for one week: for each day, a pre-market plan with market context, index levels and a watchlist; four trade cards with a pre-entry checklist and result section; and an end-of-day review covering rule-following and mindset. Trade log: four landscape pages with room for 80 trades, with columns for gross P&L, charges, net P&L and the result in multiples of your risk. Dashboards: a weekly page (win rate, profit factor, expectancy, a mistake tally) and two monthly pages (an equity-curve grid and results by setup, weekday and time of day), plus a mistakes log and a notes page. One set of daily pages (pages 9–28) covers one trading week, so reprint them as you need more. The charge rates (STT 0.025% on the sell side, stamp duty 0.003% on the buy side, and so on) are typical published figures. The planner itself notes that you should check them against your broker’s contract note. Your broker’s intraday margin and auto square-off time also vary, so confirm those too.
